Powers & Abilities Haki and Devil Fruit

So this chapter has me thinking about the two and wanted to see what people are thinking about the topic.

Haki=Willpower (chapter 597)

Devil fruits= Desires (Chapter 1069)

Of course in real life with strong will power you can overpower any desires (drugs,alcohol,porn,etc),in one piece this would indeed confirm kaidos words,and put haki (willpower) over devil fruits(desires), and this also explains zoan awakenings where typically the df desires to OVERWHELM the user (chapter 1069) ,but someone like lucci,luffy, can resist it, where as the impel down guards could not they were completely OVERWHLMED as they were weak willed. I would say you would need to be a coc user but lucci is not confirmed that, and i am not gonna sit here and argue he has it so maybe its as long as you are just built different mentally to a degree.

I desire to be the WSS, now I apply willpower to achieve that goal.

Also some desire are going to destroy you if you fight them cause its directly linked to your will.

The stronger your desire, the stronger your willpower.
