That's excessive imo. If he would have shown tendencies in the BM fight, you might have a point, but this way it would come completely out of the blue. Oda seems to handle him the same way he handles Law: He will probably get, like you just said, more diverse awakening techniques and more efficient ways of using them/applying them, but that will be it imo.

Well Law did improve his haki from the big mom fight. He learned to use haki to negate DF powers via coating his entire body.

In the last chapter of the fight, when Kid had BM pinned down with damned punk, we saw her use the deep black lightning, indicating ACoC, to try to deflect damned punk.
So if Kid learns any haki technique from that fight, it should be ACoC.

He's imo just not meant to be one of those haki gods and that's okay. Same with Law, as they can compensate it. If he could use his rail gun on a regular, similar to how Law uses those Kroom-sword slashes and gets one or the other new "assign"- move he's already super powerful.
2 or 3 changes or improvements and similar to Law, Kid will feel very different the next time we see him.

Ope is way more broken than Kidd's fruit. If a fanservice character like Yamato has it you can be sure Kidd will too based on the recent portrayal of Law. Law doesn't need it because his fruit fully compensates, all he needed was better stamina which is easy to asspull.

Hes the only other rookie besides luffy and probably blackbeard that has devil fruit awakening and conquerors haki. And its clear hes going to play a part in the endgame. Hes 100% going to unlock acoc, especially if hes going to fight shanks. It would make no sense for Oda to give kid conquerors haki and it not play a larger role later.

Kidd went through life and death battle against Big Mom like Law does, so it's a given that Kidd will have better haki the next time we see him. He should also have Awakening mastery as well.
