Before the OP, Ichigo is on his way (Chapter 555). After that, the scenes with Haschwalth executing BG9 and Cang Du, as well as his interaction with Uryu, seem to have been reimagined and rewritten. Then, the atmosphere of fear between Uryu and Lille Barro is intensified. The unique pairing of voice actors, Tetsu Inada and Tetsuya Kakihara, works really well, and combined with inserted flashbacks from the past, the seamless switching between multiple vocal tones is impressive. The intense fear of the bug infestation returns once again, and Byakuya's appearance concludes the A part section.
There is no ED, and the song is inserted within the storyline (which feels somewhat out of place). The scene where Byakuya's Bankai is released is beautifully depicted, and after his appearance, there's even an exclusive theme song. The careful attention to detail is evident in Byakuya's grasp and release before he cancels his Bankai, as well as in the intricacies of Rukia's hand splitting open due to freezing, leading to blood. The episode ends at Chapter 570.
When the voice actor credits are shown, Rukia's name is listed separately. Lastly, the poem is recited by V, "Beautiful is nothing being there" (绮丽之美,乃无物之境)
Storyboard by Tomohisa Taguchi and Shinji Itadaki, directed by Dali Chen, animation supervision by Shiiba Minami, Cindy H.Yamauchi and Chen Dali, and key animators include Nobuhiro Watanabe, Katsuhiro Takagi, Hiroyuki Okuno, and more.
