If Mr.Satan can survive this with no lasting injuries (at 1:55)
he can take on any real life animals without any problems.

He can also pull four tour buses without pulling with the rope out in front as assistance, if that's any indication of his strength.

Hercule is strong for normal human standards. He literally won the martial arts tournament. Go read dragon ball and see the types of people kid Goku was fighting lol, they definitely smack real life animals around

Mr Satan gets destroyed, Toriyama confirmed him to be weaker than a real life person lol.
He moved from one spot to another in a single frame in this video while in the middle of punching and kicking Cell.

Somehow he also managed to survive being sent flying from the middle of the ring to a rock cliff that was approximately 50 meters away and ended up with no lasting injuries.

You can call it a gag feat for Mr. Satan, but these moments are still worth mentioning since they represent some of the "best" feats he has going for him.

In the link here, Mr. Satan punches and kicks fast enough that each hit appears to land simultaneously from the reader's perspective. Speaks for his speed.

In the link here, Cell knocks Mr. Satan over a cliff, where he crashes with a thud. He's shown clutching his face in pain, but more importantly, there are small pieces of rock near him, suggesting that when he hit the cliff, he cracked part of it, causing some of the surrounding rock to break off and fall. Speaks for his durability.

This interview from 2014 where Toriyama also responds to an interview question where it is asked "How did Mr. Satan win the Tenka’ichi Budōkai when Goku & co. weren’t around?" with the following
No no, Mr. Satan really is strong. On an ordinary human level, that is.
It explains Mr. Satan’s speed and durability during the Cell Games tournament, at least within the bounds of ability for a normal human.

Whether the anime is canon to the franchise, I wouldn't overthink it here. What matters more is that the anime is an accurate adaptation to the original source material, adapting all the events and scenes from the manga, so its canon status is worth considering.

Love Tori but his statements often contradict the story he wrote, ffs he’s been on record stating he forgets stuff lol

I think it’s fair to say he should be strong by irl standards based on manga feats and he’s weak based on author statements. I don’t think either answer is wrong. Tori was a mess when it came to consistency

It's not even like Hercule's feats are that crazy though, most of the shit you're thinking of is anime filler, the best manga feat he has is breaking fourteen roof tiles and real life humans have done a comparable feat or even better.

And either way, the authors word is law when it comes to their own creation so Bob Sapp > Hercule.
