i don't like Hippos but i think the Hippo would win ..... especially in water they would really dominate , i believe even Nile Crocodiles generally avoided them , unless the Crocs are like 6 meters/20 ft
( which is their maximum length ) , or maybe 4 or 5 meters at least

they can reach 1,5 ton in weight , far heavier than Polar Bear can be ( 700 kg ) or Siberian Tiger ( 300 kg ) , it's also far longer ( 5 meters compared to 3 meters for Bear and Tiger )

they also have 6 cms thick hide . and their teeths are long and scary as hell
