Not exactly but probably something similar.

Like, Luffy will find a mirror and use G5 to stretch it and create mirror armor for himself, so light just bounces off of him.

Luffy did not even make sun glasses for himself again despite facing an opponent where they would be actually useful, and we know he has the ability to do so. People act like his battle iq is higher than his normal one, but it really isn't. Luffy just happens to have a fruit that allows his stupid ideas to actually work, but that does not somehow make his ideas any less dumb. He is, by far, the dumbest shonen protagonist I am aware of.

Hell, if he is literally only limited by his imagination, why did he not just make his eyes immune to getting blinded? If he was truly able to do whatever he wanted and is oh so creative, why not just make himself an armor with a similar power to Vegapunk's lightgloves?

Transparent? Impossible. However, liquify it? Maybe… cuz there’s a thing called liquid rubber so who knows he could do it since he is fighting a logia user.
