General & Others Honest Thoughts on Luffy Vs Kizaru?

Honest thoughts about the fight:
-One of these dudes fed the other guy so he could recover.
-Depression did far more damage to Kizaru than G5 Luffy.
The only takeaway from this fight was Luffy is still quite far from the top of the verse, either that or Kizaru is simply an exception thanks to his broken df. Even toei couldn't completely save this fight, we got a couple cool scenes and that's all.

I like the outcome of the fight. McDonald's diff and its consequences have been quite fantastic both from a character and powerscaling perspective.
But the actual battle sucked. I know this isn't Kengan Ashura, but Oda could have at least shown more of Kizaru's defense and CQC.
Instead 90% of his fights with G4 and G5 got offscreened. Only one or two new techniques and no cool nuke lasers like in MF and Sabaody.
I wish we could have gotten more. Imagine some cool shit like Kizaru showcasing his own version of Sentomaru's Ashigara Dokkoi against Luffy.
