Ashura blitzed Kaido and when it was first shown also Kaku, who was able to match in speed Lion Song, one of the fastest Zoro’s attack.
Ashura’s speed >>> Lion Song which itself is a fast attack

Ashura didn't blitz Kaido, he was right in front of Kaido and Kaido let Zoro cut him.. Ashura attacks are literally just walking.. Unless the target is right in front of you it's useless..
