I lived through it , at that time it was at end of last year of middle school, then it's was amazing and awesome iam not gonna lie op was top1 fiction for me then , I only got bored years later when oda dragged dressrosa arc with the running plot 🏃‍♀️ .

But if you traveled me back in time to relive those chapters again iam not gonna lie it will be hell
Or i am gonna laugh from how shit the whole story turned to be .




Cuz I am not the same person now nor one piece is the same work as before.

Biggest problem is the worst villains in the manga were the first two Post TS arcs (Hody Jones, Vander Decken, and Caesar Clown)

apart from EH-Elbaph, WCI & PH are extremely underrated.

I used to think WCI was just okay and carried by Luffy vs Katakuri, but it aged pretty well because the payoffs continued in subsequent arcs and still do.

Always liked how Punk Hazard started and the general vibe of it. It aged better than I thought it would. I was definitely harsher on it. My opinion of the first two post-skip arcs have largely stayed the same. Same for Dressrosa.

Both arc got Sanji jobbing. Start of post timeskip was really bad time for Sanji fans, luckily Judge exists.

Fishman island tackled a great theme and great execution of said theme.
It’s a great arc.
