General & Others How come Luffy Kid and Law have 3 billion each?

#1

We know each got a third of the credit for taking down kaido and linlin but how come luffy having a fleet and a stronger crew and becoming a yonko didn't effect his bounty?

Also why do they have a higher bounty than blackbeard another yonko

No offense but, the answer to your question is written in the image you posted
Because Kaido + BM = 8.999 Billion, and the trio's bounties together are 9 Billion.

There's your answer lol. It's what Oda wanted.
Yall didn't even read the thread
:lusalty:
How come they got the same bounty even tho luffy still has a stronger crew and fleet?
How come kid and law have a bounty over a yonko that we know should be stronger and has a whole fleet under him?

Basically do yall think the world government add or not add having a crew/fleet into the equation when it comes to bounty?

I did read the thread. The point is, it doesn't matter lol.

Bounties for strength and danger.
Titles for status.
I dont actually think bounties are supposed to fully represent strength or danger really. If that was the case the supernova trio wouldn't have the same bounty and blackbeard would be lower than them (especially kid and law)

I think it only represents your own most known feats of strength and danger
Like the reason the trio share the same bounty is add said they got equal credit for taking down kaido and linlin (aka one third each). Luffy's having a stronger crew and fleet dont add to his own bounty as an individual but their bounties + his defines their collective percieved strength and danger as a group. Luffy's bounty not representing everyone under him

The reason kid and law have a higher bounty than blackbeard despite obviously being weaker and obviously having weaker crews is because they technically accomplished something bigger than anything blackbeard himself has
Blackbeard biggest know accomplishment being defeating the remnants of the whitebeard pirates. Him again so far not showing much the navy can actually use to rank his true strength and danger

The reason buggys bounty is so high is because the world government believeing him to be way stronger than he really is. Hyping him for being a former roger pirate, giving him all the credit for impel down, believing he and shanks are rivals, and believing crocodile and mihawk are under him

I did read the thread. The point is, it doesn't matter lol.
:kata:
And that's exactly what im tryna get at
Just like somehow even devil fruits aren't even taken into consideration when it comes to bounty

There are many ways to answer this.
First, Oda wanted to show this trio as roughly equal.
Secondly, Kaido wasn't defeated alone.
Thirdly, Kidd and Law have awakened DevilFruits too.
Fourth, Shanks has the "most balanced crew" which means his crewmates have higher bounties than the usual yonko crew, yet his bounty was the lowest of the 4 yonkou (when Whitebeard was still there).
Fifth, Blackbeard became yonko after the payback war against Marco and co. That's why his bounty is low for a yonko

They announced he was made an emperor in the same paper due to his fleet and crew
Well, they're clearly not willing to admit he alone was strong enough to fight Kaido. So there is that. They can't completely remove Luffy from the picture so they lowballed him and his crew while sharing the credit with his rivals.

They only lowballed him by saying luffy kid and law played an equal role in kaido and linlins defeat
They still acknowledged him as a yonko
They still acknowledged him having a 5,600+ member crew
They still gave his 3 of his commanders bounties in the billions with all of them together being 4bil+

Same reason luffy and law had 500 mim after dressross despite luffy doing the heavy lifting.
Cause they are in an alliance.
Another situation where your crew doesn't add to your own bounty but your individual perceived strength and threat (according to the wg at least)
Luffy and law got equal credit for taking down doflamingo. Law having a fodder crew and luffy having actual quality members didn't play a role

Because they are apparently in an equal alliance to the navy. So they have the same bounty

Yes their alliance means they themselves get equal credit for their accomplishments together
Doesn't change the fact 1 of the captains crews is way stronger than the other and how it doesn't effect bounty

Same thing happened in dressrosa with luffy and law
Now it happened on a way larger scale with luffy kid and law

That doesn't really change the fact that they lowballed him though. They gave him some credit but they didn't really give him or his top commanders the credit that they actually deserve, which is the definition of lowballing.
