We know that BB became Shishi without any bounty, he was the first pirate to become shishi without having any bounty.

How did he managed that feat ?

We know that BB stayed low but he was not inactive or something. He didn't seem to work in the kitchen of WB crew or in the hospital area. He was a true pirate.

BB had been in the WB crew for decades and everyone knew that he was strong. Ace asked him if he wanted to be commander, Marco knew about his weird body. He fought Shanks some day and scarred him. Etc

Weird he never fought any marines or never been caught by anyone doing pirates things during his whole pirate career.

How does he managed to do that incredible feat ?

Did he avoid fights ? Did he killed every foes who saw his true powers ?

What do you think about that ? How did he managed to go unnoticed ?

He fought only to the point to not stand out too much, when it was possible, it always refused promotions as a commander aka stay among the hundred, if not more, of common WB sons. Maybe he even did whatever he can ti not fight marines and never take credit for anything. Like he said his only reason to be in the WB pirates was because by doing so he had more chances (according to him) to find the yami yami.

Maybe that with Shanks was a fight he could not back off, anyway for sure in that figh there was no risk of somebody snitching his real value to the WG..

Yeah he stayed low the most he could but some people with COO could sense that he was a dangerous man, he can maybe hide really well his power level with some COO blocking techniques.

And he was in the WB for decades the WB weren't that numerous in the past so being a old member he must stand out more than the other for the new members.

For sure somebody noticed at elast his strange body. Anyway there are also the necessities of the story so most likely Oda needed a BB with no bounty, gave an acceptable explanation for that and here we are. A similair statement can be said about Buggy (just the opposite lol) he was part of Gol D. Roger crew, which was a small one so most likely every member was well know yet he stayed as a pirate with his bounty poster and all in east blue for years, was even captured by marines and sent to Impel down but nobody realized his past until Oda wanted it to happen.

Only way I can think of is pretending to be random fodder on the ship and stay locked in his room when wb pirates had fights. not joking. oda pushed it with the no bounty thing.

Being careful around the marines, and not taking any division commander status. Yes, probably other pirates who are not division commanders have low level bounties too, but it's not something happens all the time. Blackbeard is a smart guy, he knows how the WG learns about other pirates.

I think it’s hard to make this determination without knowing exactly when Blackbeard gave Shanks his scar...if it was while he was with Whitebeard and Red Hair was with Roger, then it stands to reason he was strong enough back then to warrant attention from the Marines.

However, it’s possible that he was little more than an average crew member until he killed Thatch and absconded, and in his quest for notoriety, he challenged Shanks with his newfound powers in the hopes of deposing the newest Yonko and slashed him good around the eye. If any of that happens to be the case, his lack of a reputation while with the WBP makes sense.

Not to be one of commander on the ship and keep pretending like another thousand fodders out there. Not doing big shit on his own. That's probably enough..

One other example is Buggy. His identity as former PK crew was keep unknown until he became infamous jailbreaker which made navy bit concerned about him. Also his lowass bounty was prolly given when he had his own crew back in eastblue.

He isn't the first pirate who avoided attracting the marines' attention and getting a bounty.

All he had to do was to hide his power most of the time, never fight seriously in a place where marines or CP agents were present and refusing any promotion to commander in the Whitebeard Pirates.
