Zoro = Roger
Sanji = Rayleigh
Jinbei = Gaban

Luffy = some other scrub under Roger??

But why should Luffy's crew surpass an emperor's in wano? It just calls for so many implausible power jumps. The monster trio's bounties are less than half of that of the calamities. The mid and weak trio were fodderized by veteran tiers in WCI.

and its a borderline fact that Luffy won't 1v1 kaido.

Wano isn't the end of one piece and its not even the next to last arc. There is still more time. Luffy promised katakuri that he would return to WCI to defeat big mom. he's said that he would beat big mom after kaido so many times I feel like its unlikely for it to not happen. Then we have akainu and the SSG, who the SHs will surely fight sometime before blackbeard.

What do we possibly have to gain by making the SH crew on par with the yonkos in Wano?

First of all M3 was a thing created by fans and now m3 is zoro sanji and jimbei ? wtf lol!

OT : simple sanji and jimbei seems to be close in strenght. So if they fight a t6 it follows the things that Oda showed till now.

Jimbei was equal to ace and we know that ace was not in the top 3 fighter of WB (marco, jozu and Vista) so if jimbei doesn't fight a calamity it's not a big deal. Actually if sanji fights queen and zoro fights king, it's not possible for a jack vs jimbei because neko and inu need to take their revenge in their suulong form. Unless Oda forgot about that.

For Sanji even if he dominated P1, it seems he doesn't defeat him so him fighting a stronger one like drake or Who Who is pretty much a good thing, considering his previous fights against vergo or doffy. But for the story and luffy's dream, EOS sanji needs to be at least yc2 lvl so we have time for him.

For Zoro, i'm not worry. Oda is the biggest zoro wanker so impossible for him to let Zoro fighting a weaker opponent than king.
But if it happens, I will be so fucking disappointed if he doesn't fight king or the second strongest in Kaido's side. But king is too dope to not be a zoro's opponent. Oda always gave to zoro an opponent who has something special. Monet being a logia and defeated her without haki, one shotted Hodi in water, cut a mountain size golem, won the first SN battle in an unique way.
Oda also gave him "enma" with a special ability when zoro didn't show his full power, that's why it will be disappointing and dumb to skip zoro vs a calamity or the second strongest.
So the only question is "kaido has someone stronger than king or not ?" If yes, zoro will fight him and if no, zoro will fight king.

No one in the alliance except Luffy and Zoro can take King or the "Ace" if there is one. But luffy will fight kaido supported by law and kidd.
Zoro vs King a pure 1 vs 1 swordsmen battle.

The Straw Hat Pirates are the protagonists of the One Piece Story, if the Monster Trio don't fight the Calamities, then no one else should either.

Luffy, Law, Kidd vs Kaido
Zoro vs King
Sanji vs Queen
Jinbe vs Jack
Luffy might also get his own 1v1 fight against a strong opponent before Kaido, like Kaido's son maybe.

Because an Emperor's crew is the current enemy of the Straw Hats. Power levels don't mean shit when Oda had been steadily giving them power-up handjobs (Usopp's COO, Franky building new weapons, Zeus, Sanji's Raidsuit, Enma, Luffy learning advanced COA, and no doubt more to come). That means the mid trio will go from your Operas and Dellingers to your Ovens and Daifukus, and Sanji to graduate from Diamantes and Ovens to Crackers and Queens. Remember how strong Katakuri was last arc? Expect Zoro to reach that level this arc.

And who fucking cares about bounties.

Luffy promised to beat Big Mom; that's it. It doesn't matter when or where, only that he accomplishes that objective. Oda brought her and the undefeated Monster Ministers to this arc for a reason, and the anime staff with info from Oda said he'll have a legendary battle with Kaido AND Big Mom.

And fighting Akainu before Blackbeard isn't set in stone. We are told there will be a HUGE war when the One Piece is found. One Piece is finally found, but then there are TWO major arcs (VS Blackbeard, VS World Government). Face it, after Big Mom and Kaido are out of the picture, we will be VERY close to the end game. There's no time for a "Zoro needs to learn to get strong" plot if he's going to approach Mihawk or Yonko-level Shiryu soon.

Luffy becomes a legendary pirate. There's nothing legendary about him Marineford'ing Wano without the giant L.

People really get triggered for some reason when you don't include luffy in the monster trio
Also get mad when zoro sanji and jinbe are referred to his commander equivalent. Which only really means the strongest subordinates.

Like do people really have to put zoro sanji and jinbes name in every title referring to them in order to stop people from complaining in every thread about it

Not a Sanji fan but I'd feel disappointed for Sanji fans rather than Sanji himself. They get attacked and memed on all over the forum but they're still loyal. As for Zoro and his fans, I'd welcome it as a humbling experience for them and their wank. In fact, I think it would be glorious seeing the over zealous Z boys meltdown. For the less aggressive and reasonable Z boys, I would feel disappointed for them as well.

My disappointment won't be anything personal. I stopped putting high expectations on OP and Oda since WCI. In fact I expect Oda to disappoint us all like he has in the past few years.

As for my views, I think that they will be fighting the calamities. Do I think that it's reasonable without some buildup? No! Luffy had a lot of PIS and bullshit roll his way to "beat" Doffy, Cracker and Kata. It would be wildly inconsistent to have S and Z have such leaps in power without having any challenges. If thats the case then I guess we can start scaling Doffy, Cracker and Kata differently because they clearly beat the shit out of and embarrassed Luffy in their respective fights and should have won in not for PIS.
