I just ask my maid to make it for me.

I think she washes it >> puts it in a pot with boiling water >> leaves it until soft but not mushy >> drains the excess water >> voila you have soft and fluffy rice where the grains don't stick to each other.
I m pretty sure she puts it in normal water not boiling water

im honestly surprised at how some of you cook wine. lol i said wine cause of beks alky comment about nats method haaha HOW SOME OF YOU COOK RICE lol

my method: rinse and drain 4 times to remove excess starch, i fill water or stock veg/chicken whatever i have or going for til the liquid is at the first index knuckle line, if rice cooker just let the bish go if cooking on stove i will cook on med/high til boiling then lower heat for about another 5-7 mins with lid on. sometimes ill add flavor like soy sauce, peppercorn, onion scraps, garlic, and maybe add veg to eat like mushies which also enhances the flavor.

I just dont see wine and rice being a combo. You need to cook out wine to remove alcohol from it, but by doing so you risk overcooking the rice

Chicken or Beef stock works way better.

Hell butter and cheese for rissoto is good too
