How do you think about this way of thinking?

If there are gold digger who enter relationship for the money, there are also people who just want to have handsome boyfriend / husband or pretty girlfriend / husband.

If for example how do you think about this guy:

- an average guy chasing pretty girl into a relationship, solely because she's pretty

- he finds out that she have lousy personality

- he stays in that relationship and takes effort to improve her personality over time

- but actually his principle is: "you can teach maturity and personality, but you cant change physical standards. So better get a pretty girl since the start no matter what, even if it comes with lousy personality, we can gradually change that as we go"

What do you think about that guy? Is it right, wrong, grey area? Is it ugly but acceptable? Unacceptable? Shallow? What if it's a girl doing that to a guy? Is chasing a relationship due to beauty the same as chasing a relationship due to money?

hm his principle is flawed for sure bc if he can't fix the girl personality, he just casually move on to another beautiful girl
there is never ending of beautiful women in this world so those people who put beauty at unreasonable priority will find themselves more prone to cheating and incapable in long term relationship.beauty also fades over time

this happens a lot and men will cheat on the girl for a less pretty woman but one he likes for personality. now he wont leave the wom an because having a pretty/hot girl by your side is winning but he won't really like her as a person. just as gold diggers don't really like their wallets as people
