Honestly one piece is in a weird place where there is a loud minority that screams Goda and doesn't like any criticism. And point at the nitpickers to dodge the real criticism.

while the other side is another loud minority of people nitpicking individual panels every chapter and pointing at the avid supporters and saying they can't handle criticism while ignoring most people are fine with some criticism.

Both sides kinda just canabalize off each other while the average reader is just chilling

Wano drove everyone away, meanwhile Chainsaw Man is the biggest meme on the planet in anime and manga right now and op still sold twice as much. it sells ten times as much as shit like MHA and Black Clover.
