God created All Spirits.
Devil Fruits are created from People's Hopes.
People's Hopes are another word for People's Will.
People's Will created Devil Fruits.
Will is also the same thing as a Spirit.
Haki is Spirit Energy.
Devil Fruits are made from Haki.
Is it any wonder that you can enhance Devil Fruit powers with Haki? The fact they are compatible and nothing else is should tell you that.
