Do you think being able to fly or levitate is an important aspect of being a fighter in one piece?

No, it's not important. It's just an additional and very useful perk. Depending upon who you're fighting, it'd prove to be extremely useful and advantageous. But it's not a basic necessity.

Not so much, WB and Roger were not shown having done that and they are the strongest ones we have in the series. BM had her homies and Kaido could in dragon form, yet they never showed something that their flight was giving them any noticeable advantage. Even King vs Zoro showed that.

If they have Ranged Attacks then it helps offensively such as Doffy and King, but if they don't then it's only helpful as an escape option such as Marco and Sanji

I was really disappointed that king did not exploit zoros inability to fly after he unlocked advcoc

Zoro still have Ranged & AoE Attacks though, sometimes best Defense is Offense

Somewhat useful. It's not anything major game changing or anything unless you're in Naruto world where Deidara or Sasuke can decide the outcome of the fights through flight lmao.

Most Baddass characters of One Piece doesn't fly.

Whitebeard, Roger, Garp, Rayleigh, Zoro.

Kaido and Big Mom are the only flying.
