How many Road Poneglyphs do Red Hair Pirates have? We know that Shanks and Buggy did not go to LT but they were present in the remaining journey so they should know where the Roger Pirates got the RPs previously (WCI, Zou, Wano and FI). But so far we have no info of Shanks ever going for any of these, on the contrary he seems to have been trying to maintain the balance so him going to WCI and Wano (Yonko territories) does not fit well. The Zou RP is also said to have been shown only to SHPs after Roger Pirates, so for three of the four there is very limited chance that Shanks got the RPs by visiting the places. For the FI one we have no clue except that it was said to be on one of the three islands (I dont remember the three from the magazine). But Shanks seemed pretty confident on claiming the OP at the end of Wano.
I was thinking that Shanks actually doesnt need the RPs because of his journey with Roger Pirates so he probably has a good idea and same goes for CG due to Buggy. It is only SHPs and BBPs that require the RPs to reach LT. But then we are shown that Kid Pirates hand their RP copies to Shanks so Shanks gets the WCI and Wano RPs (we have no confirmation of Kid Pirates getting the Zou RP). Shanks probably can easily get the Zou RP as he was already crewmates with them and he is a Yonko (the oldest among the group now).
The thing that throws me off though is that Shanks has been called the freest pirate of the era, the one closest to being the PK. If he did not have the WCI, Zou/FI and Wano RPs then how can he be the closest to PK? I think the Kid Pirates handing over their RPs to Shanks is a red herring and that Shanks already had them or knew the info contained in them and thats why he was confident enough to say lets claim the OP to Benn, the handing over was just to show that Kid is no longer in the race for OP.
