Speculations How many years will it take Oda to finish Elbaf?

It’s going to take like at least 2-3 years most likely. Possibly more.

Elbaf is a massive new island that has been hyped since pre skip.

At this point, none of what we have seen in Elbaf ties into the larger story. Where is the 4th poneglyph? What are the yonko, marines, revos, and CDs doing?

Significant plot developments need to happen on those fronts. Otherwise it makes no sense for Elbaf to be as hyped as it is.

Doffy fell in Dressrosa, Kaido and BM fell in wano, if nobody but Loki falls in Elbaf this arc will be a waste.

This arc will likely drag on forever and end in the elimination of many of the current contenders from the OP race. Specifically I think the RHP, Cross Guild, and Marines could fall.

If Luffy befriends some monarch child/teenager who's been pushed out by an evil false ruler, theeeenn we'll see a bloated arc.
That's where Oda's most comfortable.

Depends on what kind of arc Oda wants it to be, I doubt any arc will ever be as long as Wano, so 4 years is out of the question, and I doubt it'll be a Zou type arc, so over a year at the minimum, anywhere from 1-3 years
