So why is Kaido literally saying base Luffy is stronger than Big Mom?
BM treated Kaido like a young sibling and even though they said they would fight or kill each other it was never serious for either of them. So it's entirely reasonable for Kaido to not take his fight with BM as a serious fight but more like a spar.
