I think it's for the most part a subjective choice overall. One cannot really ascribe it to a single objective paradigm.

I can see 10,000 € rather often IRL, I'm very attached to this place on the other hand and spent a long long time in the community. It holds a practical and also moral value as I stated in the OP.

I think 100 $ is eventually as respectable as 10,000 € depending on how much this site is important to the user specifically too. So I can see your point. I think many users would accept anything in the hundreds I guess, even amongst the seniors who happen to still be regulars.

Also back on topic, I guess there's a threshold by which too much attachment = too much money needed to accept can constitute bias, I think considering I spent so much time and good time expecially on this site it makes sense that I would reject that offer, but I guess my choice to have spent so much time on here did not necessarily constitute a biased one xd

I still managed to deal with real life proficiently.

Well I spent around 5,000 hours of my life on this site and on average a human being lives 700,000 in the most developed countries.

I did bond with many users and despite I never saw their faces in first person I feel good.

I'm greatly passionate about One Piece and other topics discussed in here, which is funnily the least important element since there are other places for it.

Also 10,000 € are a lot to most but personally my family is almost millionaire so they don't strike that massive to me.
