How many chapter do you think is left in wano ?

a year has passed since we entered onigashima... I think all of this year + few chapters more are mere set ups for the real show

8-10 chapters to warp the fake set ups that will result in an overwhelming defeat + big mom pirates arrival + rooftop conclusion with failure and act 3 ends

3 chapters outside wano, we see vivi , Hancock and sabo stuff

5-7 chapters set up for the REAL war... third party etc

8 chapters for rocks flashback

30 chapters for the final battle ... this part will be just fighting

8-10 chapters for warping things up

so around 70 chapters as a tool

We're reaching uncharted territory. Almost 100 chapters, and the arc is still a ways from over. At bare minimum, I think every major fight besides the final needs 1 to 2 chapters dedicated to them each, so something like 12 or 15. That's not including transitionary/setup chapters, or chapters dedicated to fleshing out characters, such as Yamato, Kaido, or a Zoro backstory. We might still be in this arc 40 chapters or more.

The climax phase of WCI took like 30 odd chapters to complete. It's not out of the realm of possibility for Wano's to be almost double, given the much larger scope and cast.

We’re at the stage now where we can pretty much judge the structure of how the rest of the arc will go, assuming Oda sticks to his past routine.

We started a new volume on 1005 last chapter, this volume (volume 100, 1005-1014) should see the first Flying Six members defeated. Past experience tells us this will be the Beast Pirate volume cover, although Oda might want to do something special for Volume 100 that pushes that back.

Volume 101 (1015-1024) should see the rest of the Flying Six defeated and the Calamities fall, this might stretch to the next volume. This will be a Strawhat cover volume, opposite to Volume 100

Volume 102 (1025-1034) will see for certain the Calamities defeated and the start of the endgame Kaido fight as the main plot. This should end on a cliffhanger.

Volume 103 (1035-1044) will see the end of the war, with Kaido falling, probably on the very last chapter

Volume 104 (1045-1054) will be the post fight part of the arc, party, squaring off any Wano loose ends, start to catchup with the rest of the world.

You made a mistake in your scenario. If they fail then Wano and One piece ends in 13 chapters because, Wano citizens dead, scabbards dead, Luffy dead, Zoro dead, I'm not sure why Oda would then keep writing One Piece.

So I guess around 3 or 4 more to have the final matchs ups.
Between 2 and 4 chapters to conclude the under the rooftop fights.
Small flashback for Kaido which also includes Yamato's story (around 3 or 4 chapters).
15 chapters for the rooftop fight.
1 or 2 transition chapter after the fight to see the state of everybody.
Between 5 and 10 chapters of partying and deciding where to go next (recruitment maybe).

So overall around 70 chapters.

The Numbers are pretty irrelevant as characters. They‘ll tie in to Kaido’s backstory, but they aren’t going to do more than as individuals than give characters like Hyo and some of the Scabbards someone to one-shot.

And yeah, the Flying Six should fall very soon. The next two/three chapters should square up Sanji, Yamato, Queen and Jack, then... everything’s in place, there’s nothing left to do but have everyone fight.




That’s the setup for all the fights starting now, with each Strawhat victory then going back to the board and having taken out a big chunk of black pieces. With the Beast Pirates getting hyped up by taking out four of the white pieces during the fight.
