Compare that to Law eating a bunch of haki punches that WCI G4 couldn’t push, or ACoC Thunder Bagua that he endured better than G4 Luffy. Oda was treating Kidd as the inferior of the two all throughout, maybe not in portrayal but certainly in feats. It is what it is

Shockwille comes from the Df abilities, a sword swing and punch is force directly from the user. Their emotional status definitely can increase the amount of force they put into an attack

That would be like saying yassop is not a sniper if he had a df ability to coat his bullets in a way that launched lightning from it or something.
