So folk were expecting Kidd to rival Law in terms of importance but has he? Has he really? :goatasure:

Considering Law started off the whole Yonko Saga, is the original mastermind behind the plan to whack Kaido and had a whole backstory dedicated to him, Law has been relevant and looks set to stay as a relevant character. Oda even gave him some pretty nifty new abilities that pack a serious punch.

Kidd meanwhile has barely done anything. Like for real, he barely got to do anything until the Rooftop and even since then, it has only been as part of tag teams in which he pulls the least weight.

He certainly hasn't been as important to the plot of both the Wano Arc and the Yonko Saga as Law has.

So amongst the Supernovas, if Kidd ain't as big as a deal as Law then who does he match for relevance? :quest:

Well what other Supernova was relevant for a single arc in order to help Luffy before being discarded?

That is right, only one other Supernova fits this criteria. :shakiously:

That is right folks, Kidd is the Bege of Wano. :finally:

Both exist solely to assist Luffy in a single arc, both have underwhelming devil fruits, both were used to tie up Linlin from interfering with Luffy and both inevitably ended up becoming Luffy subordinates. :risicheck:

So there you have it folks, Kidd is likely to end up banished by Oda to the Cover Story shadow realm where Bege is already at. :ihaha:

So who did their single arc appearance better? Big Daddy Bege or the Midd Kidd. :myman:

It appears that Oda really wanted to at least try and make him look like someone who may be considered to be "Luffy's rival" although he failed miserably with that.

I feel genuinely nothing when Kidd is in the chapter/arc. Law at least causes some discussions/mysteries even tho he's also far from being Luffy's rival.

Although I like Law people need to remember that Supernovas in general were more than likely toilet thoughts. They were literally last-minute additions confirmed.

Oda really tried to make you think that Kidd and Law will be Luffy's rivals yet as this arc shows, they are nothing more than Luffy's cheerleaders or even Luffy's Marco ( I mean not as Marco for WB but more so as for the role they have ).

Look now. They "defeated" Big Mom yet she will fight Luffy in 1 vs 1 so Luffy gets his promise to Kata fulfilled.

Like lol. What's the fucking purpose for their existence? Law is at least interested in the Void Century/Poneglyphs. Kidd appears to be happy go lucky more than Luffy and it's hilarious.

This is the first he has been involved in the main story in Dressrosa i recall Law was also a lot more restricted with his ability until Wano. I can see similar pay off for Kid assuming he travels with the strawhats and is involved in the next arc. He is a CoC user his df has tons of potential it's just Oda hasn't been very creative with it

He probably will return for Raftel, provided RHPs make it there, too. Otherwise, Law will definitely stay more relevant and Kidd & Killer return only for the Final War.

I mean he fulfilled his role in Wano by being one of the main players (defeating a Yonko task) so that's good I guess.
A huge role Oda would not give to just anyone he definitely has some plans for Kid to keep playing major role in future arcs. I just hope we get a character arc for him soon that is one of the big things missing Oda needs to deliver on
