How successful will Naruto or HxH be if it came out recently instead of the 90's?

They would be smash hits. They’d have newly animated anime and look even better than they ever did. And also they trump new stuff story-wise.

To be fair, Boruto is riding on Naruto's coattails.


Naruto would be fine imo, cuz Land of Waves is a stellar arc and it happens quite soon into Naruto, so yeah it'd probably do great.
