It was revealed that BB has two sisters. I’m assuming that their souls got trapped inside his body in some sort of experiment (likely conducted by Xebec), so BB can have up to 3 DFs since his body has 3 souls

I’m guessing it’s the yami allows it, it seems like him obtaining that fruit was the key to his master plan. I also think about him enshrouding Whitebeard’s body with a black cloak, I don’t believe this was just to hide the secret from the readers, it’s probably actually a key feature to the procedure. Pure darkness is probably necessary + yami. As for the not sleeping thing your guess is as good as mine.

Assuming BB’s Yami Yami can absorb anything and store it….he could theoretically absorb one’s devil fruit which his fruit does(nullifies df ability ) store it within him and use it
Which brings up the question ….is it endless then? Or does he have a limit to how many he can absord ?

It would make sense if we didn't see young BB. The artificial body shouldn't age theoretically.


My picks are:

Cerberus DF. Very obvious one.

Yami awakening allows you to suck in the other power but some conditions must be met with it.

No one actually tried to eat two at the time, the exploding bs is fake propaganda and he did it first and turned out you just have a massive stomach ache for a few weeks starting the following day.

I think Yami2 Awakening allows him to not just nullify DFs by touch but also directly extract-absorb them fruits himself. But in MF, BB hasnt mastered its application to the fullest so he needed some help like mystical cloak of darkness or something.

But even if he get Yami2 ability to absorb other DF, he will still die from eating 2 DFs so thats how his unusually different body structure came into play. Now about that i have no clue, maybe he got no sleep since his multiple personalities/genetic chimerism personas switching around in turns/cycles of being conscious/awake?

All in all BB is an extremely interesting character. I hope he gets Oda's full attention and focus regarding his character, not empty shenanigans without any substance.

I'm partial to the cerberus idea just makes the most sense with the claws and the flag with three skulls.

this way he has:
Most powerful logia by virtue of being able to nullify df powers
Most powerful zoan by virtue of being able to eat 2 other fruits
Most powerful paramecia in terms of destructive power

The only thing that doesn't go well with Cerberus is it being the best Zoan fruit. Because it is not or depends on the context. As a Zoan alone it's not the best but on the other hand, it allows you to consume 2 more powers.
