I can't recall feats exactly but are Crocodile or Enel awakened? Crocodile spoke about it and showed he was plenty good with his fruit, Enel even restarted his heart after death. Never seemed like a stamina issue for either of them.

Yeah they had insane mastery, but for now the only indicator for awakening we can go by is if whether or not characters can do stuff that they should not be able to do with just their fruit's base ability.
And it's really hard to tell in their cases, cause Logias are so just powerful. But imo Croc did not really show anything that indicates this much.

If there's something we could go by then the most obvious choice should be Enel's Amaru (Thunder God) form. That's really unlike anything we have seen before except for Monet's snow harpy form maybe.
Unfortunately we don't know whether it drains stamina or not, so we are back to zero :D

They need more training to increase their endurace and develop cost efficient techniques so they can last as long as Kat/Doffy.

Gears are not part the normal usage if thr Gomu Gomu no Mi. They are usage out of the normal specs of the gomu gomu no mi. This is why the take so much out of Luffy

Episode 1 Luffy had fully mastered his devil fruit already. He was supposed to be awakened episode 1.

Nobody in the manga has taken their devil fruit out of spec with the exception of Luffy. That is the difference

Mmm everyone has taken their DF beyond o what the DF normally should do lol. Cracker? Cookies? He has ia craftsman doing soldiers and controlling them from far.

Fujitora? Gravity? Pulls a meteor out of space lol. Mingo? Creates clones and birdcage. Kidd? a robot. Ace? Does his own water scotter.

People has done things beyond of that their DF is capable of. Luffy is a rubber, a balloon almost, so at the end it was something in his posibilities. As Crocodile said, no one know when a DF will be useful or how are they gonna be used.

Well, Law also is a warlord but still there is years of difference in the usage.
