He got some haki over the timeskip, probably due to his fight with Beckman. Then after he got beat by Kaido, he gained awakening and damned punk.

Kid always came back stronger. It would be piss writing for him to die in 1079, after getting a spotlight in wano. Especially when his death wasn't even confirmed in the chapter(we didn't even see him drown).

"Character Growth" =/= Powerlevel.

I think Kid will get something in Elbaf. It won't be as big as fighting a yonko, but it doesn't need to be.

imo Kid will learn to stop being a headass and instead of challenging Shanks again for another L, he'll fight Beckman, win, and leave the island with a good reputation.

If there was ever a prize for "Character Growth", Kidd should be #1 atm since he's been taking Ls for the entirety of the Post TS.
Kidd fans have been saying this for years... when he lost his Arm vs Beckman, when he got thrashed vs Kaidou etc,.

How many more Ls before Mr. Metal Pica gets the Character Growth that his fans have predicted since the end of Dressrosa?
Because atm, he's been passed on like a Blunt between the Yonko to be used as Hypetool for their Powers.
