I ask not even because of the countless back-and-forth between Emperor and Admiral boys, but because from a logical standpoint, Luffy/Zoro > Kizaru.
I mean, they seem to have more strength, better Haki, better fruits ( in Luffy's case ), etc.
But I know this can't be the case in story, they can't have so many advantages if their enemy is still supposed to be threatening.
I see a few options:
One: Kizaru him self has grown and has better Haki than before, and even awakened his Logia.
Two: They make Luffy/Zoro weaker via some excuse like they did with Sickbeard, where Sickbeard practically had cancer and heart problems once he got stabbed by Squard.
Three: Luffy/Zoro don't try 100%.
I do believe that it's either the 1st or 3rd, because we've seen villains get stronger before, some being a threat and some not ( Lucci is an example of the latter ).
And we've also seen Luffy not try 100%. He used G5 against Lucci and G4 against a Seraph, but neither of those characters are Kaidou level, especially as Luffy didn't use Advanced Haki or any "special abilities" ( like turning into a giant or throwing thunder at them ).
Plus, when Luffy clashed with Fujitora, he didn't even use G4.
Nor did Yamato use her DF when she slammed GB.
So I wonder just how will Oda handle this.
How hard will Luffy, or Zoro, or anyone else worthy of fighting an Admiral, have to try?
