I think he’s getting at how most of the Straw Hats have been lacking post timeskip as characters/individuals of what they were before.
They ain’t got much character moments that matter as opposed to pretimeskip and their gags are overused to no avail, just take a look at Sanji and how his gag has been overused during FI.
Some of the Straw Hats ain’t even give a flying fck about their dreams for example Nami, her dream was to draw a map of the world, where has that gone?

We have simply too much of Luffy,an arc without him would be refreshing for a change, Impel down and Marineford were good because Oda put out all the SH bar Luffy and gave focus on a ton more characters, now it would be interestin to do the same with Luffy.
Also he is getting a bit too jesus imo, I didn't like at all how in WCI, after he learned the lesson from Ace's death, that is not just the usual overused shounen trope "must get stronger" but also "look at what revenge brought to" and even "don't be lured like a moron like Akainu did with Ace". Yet Luffy learnt nothing: attacked BM becuase he felt doing so and worse go take on Kata even if he was imprisoned in the mirror world. His character learnt nothing from Ace's death.
What would have been good is that he did all the shit he has done in WCI but at the end he had to pay the bill aka the irritating chapter 900 ship explosion was not another deus ex machina to save the SH ass but was real, a sort of Sabaoduly 2.0. Make him lose or have a big damage to the ship, make even some sh be out for a dozen or more chapter, even better if it is Luffy himself. And after that a slow rebuild centered on "why did it happen? Maybe I shouldn't have tried to challenge a yonko at her home with half the crew" and so on, rethink about Ace too and have an actual character grow. But that would ruin the shounen formula, and the OP shounen formula in particular, which sells like hotcakes so better stick with the old recipe.

I see the logic that Luffy is getting too much panel time. However, that has nothing to do with Luffy having to become a "better" character.
Frankly, I am a Zoro fan first and foremost. But I don't think I can say that Zoro is a great character and then say Luffy needs to be a "better" character. Specially with Luffy and Zoro sharing many similarities with each other.
We need to get past this "panel-envy" that many of us have for Luffy.

He's fine the way he is. The less screen time thing is stupid, people wants to see admirals fight that lasted 10 days when the adventure is about luffy becoming pirate king, that's the real problem.
People have their favourite which is normal, not everybody has to have luffy as their favourite but it becomes unreasonable when they expect third ground character to have more screen time, to become stronger than luffy or be the main focus in the story.
This is why I chose this username, just as a reminder that he is the main character, and has always had that much screen time, it's just that oda created so many good characters over the years that people think he owes them more screen time for some of these fodders.
Also the serie is 20 years old, I can understand that some people express a certain fatigue regarding the main cast. Maybe the solution would be to make a break and come back later. I personally still enjoy every straw hats.

Regarding challenging the Yonko with half of the crew members, he never did wanted to fight with BigMom...he only complied with Sanji request in saving the Germa otherwise they would have escaped the night before tea party....

Zoro can make a quick class about bushido rules or the history of swords, which metal is good for making sword and which is bad.
Nami can make a quick geography class, how to drain world map, the scale ratio, which color is used for mountain area, lake and sea, etc. Which kind of paper is suitable for drawing and which paper is bad.
Sanji can make culinary class about dishes and their nutrition.
Usopp can tell history of giant and which plant can be used for war.
Chopper with medicinal class, herb, how to make first aid medicine, how to treat sick person, burned person, frozen person etc.
Robin can do history class, or telling the books she has been reading.
