Character Discussion How would you write Zoro moving forward while still keeping him an actual character that is still has room to grow?

Sorry about the long Title, but ever since the timeskip Zoro has consistently been a character I find more and more boring and adds less and less to each arc. He arguably had the most character development in Part One of the story, but since then nothing seems to challenge him. He's become an overpowered character that the author doesn't know what to do with, and has such a rabid fan base that he has to spend so much of the arc doing nothing too not end the arcs too early.

He won't fight an Admiral in any serious fight because neither of them are allowed to lose fights right now. So what do you do with a character like Zoro moving forward? More of the same? Him doing nothing for the majority of the action so he only gets moments that make him look good?

Wano was the arc for him ,
Instead of Releasing it on SBS , Oda could have explored Shitmotsuki Lineage , Black Blade mysteries in Wano with Zoro. And OFC ZKK , it was never a theory of Zoro fighting kaido 1v1 and killing him. It was all about Killing him the final blow. Cutting Kaido is apparently a big deal.
Zoro in dressrosa was again messed up with not actually having to fight fujitora (win or loose) but stalemate was unneccesary because fight with pica was easily as hell.
Zoro skipped WCI for obvious reason , him being overpowered.
Oda want zoro to be the strongest but keeps on wanking luffy for the kids who watches One piece , a typical shounen manga plot MC gets weird attention.

"And then Zoro moved forward while he still had room to grown"

Jokes aside that's the reality of One Piece as a whole after timeskip. All characters are like that. Even Sanji that had a second arc and people somehow calls that character development... It is an insult to his true character development at Baratie.

Zoro should be doing more work as the Vice Captain that he is. like when telling Luffy to not play around (and Luffy should stop play around) and really recruiting samurais for the Wano fight.
