Break Week How would ZZK have played out?

#1
All the talk about Zoro being the one who killed Kaido, how would it have happened? Would it be a One on One fight, or a team effort? With Yamato and Adult Momo? And what would Luffy and the others be doing?

Like BM vs Law and Kidd.
It was a huge mistake to have Luffy finish off Kaido on his own.
Fine to have Luffy take the lime light and pummel Kaido. But since Luffy never kills (at least not deliberately) it would have been an absolute non issue for Zoro to deal the final blow in a 2v1.
Instead we got a dumb Hiryu Kaen teaser that freaking missed entirely...
I was not subscribed to ZKK, but I was not against it either. It would have made way more sense than Nika Godffy vs PiS Kaido.

Whats left now? Luffy has no enemy where he is really the underdog anymore after that. Unless Oda uses PiS (he always does) like against Kizaru.
Luffy went from jumproping the massively oversized durability king of OP and tanking multiple attacks that can one shot top tiers to needing an uber delivery against a guy that could not even take him out pre timeskip.
LM fucking AO

Pretty much like this:
1. Luffy beat Kaido
2. Luffy is out of gas so he becomes a sitting duck like in Dressrosa, while after a while Kaido wakes up again due to zoan power
3. Kaido flies to Flower Capital and rampages, everyone there is scared
4. Zoro comes and beheads Kaido, replicating what Ryuma did: slaying dragon in Flower Capital
Opposing Kaido & Big Mom on the rooftop is a group effort.
They barely manage to separate the two Yonko.
Law, Kidd, Killer + some others (Scabbards, yakuza, etc.) take BM away.
Luffy, Zoro + some others fight Kaido, but he's still too much of a beast for them.
The rest of the plot, with CP0 interference & Luffy's death, happens the same way.
Nika barely defeats Kaido & is out of juice.
Everybody rejoices. It's the end of Thriller Bark all over: the dawn is here and they've made it by a hairbreadth.
Luffy passes out, adult Momo makes a speech in front of the Flower Capital when--
Giant, injured dragon Kaido reappears over them, threatening a new war.
Everybody is worried. They try waking Luffy up.
But Zoro knows that even if Luffy goes G5 again, he will only defeat Kaido, while more drastic measures are needed. Luffy is not the type to take a life, but taking Kaido's is what is necessary.
With his last haki, Zoro feeds greedy Enma and jumps into the sky.
In a breathtaking volume-ending double-spread, the clouds above the Flower Capital are cut into two, and with them Kaido's head is severed as well.
The Wano population is in disbelief; silhouetted flashbacks recall what Ryuma did centuries ago.
Luffy sleeps peacefully. The curtain falls on the menace who'd enslaved the Country of Gold.

This parallel even fits , Kuma showing up in the end after luffy defeated Moria. and Zoro only fought Kuma.

Jinbe vs Crocodile.

Depends which type of Zoro fan you ask.

To the normal Zoro fan it was like a sneak attack on a 1hp Kaido when he's fleeing or something after being beat by Luffy.

To the Zorotard Kaido would awaken his devil fruit after Luffy passes out and Zoro beats a stronger version of Kaido than the one which caused Luffy to pass out.

Glad it played out like it did as either the former or latter would have took the shine off of Luffy and it was Luffy's fight not Zoro's.

It's good to reminisce now though. I remember being called a troll for saying Sanji's main fight would be Queen and Zoro's main fight would be King.

Just proceed where the plot ended once Kaido vs Luffy was over.
Luffy reached his limit and is unable to continue.
Zoro is in a bad shape as well and Franky carries him to Chopper.

Kaido awakens and flies out of the hole and lets out a roar that paralysed the entire Wano.
Seeing that all fighters are on their limit Chopper decides to use Ice Oni plague on Zoro.
It allows Zoro to stand back up to use KOH Asura Dragon Twister which minces Kaido out of existence. Wano drops a jaw.
Peak fiction. :luuh:

Kaidou terrorised and brutalised the people on Wano for decades.

Dude had to die.

Luffy is not a killer.

The final, killing blow could have been appropriately handled by Zoro, and used the shining example of what it is Zoro contributes to the crew - the will to take a life.

People Zoro hasn't killed anyone in the series. Even Mr.1 survived. Luffy sent him into a Volcano, would Zoro have done more than that?
