well their fight was highly in chrollos favor and on his terms hisoka gave him every advantage to the point that not only hisoka commented on it afterwards but so did chrolo. At this point they're both bloodlusted and hisoka won't you around the same way he did the first round.
I know that much nen vows especially for life and death are comparable to the unbreakable curse in Harry Potter the same way Severus made a pact to prtotect and carry out malfoys duties is the same way nen works if the laws are not followed then they lose what was promised. It's why kurapika is so OP when he fought against uvogin. I still call that first fight a copout ish but the backstory was fleshed out enough I can overlook uvogin losing like that.
But if my guy nobunaga, phinks or feitan hoes out the same way we have some issues.
Illumi is acting weird. But that can be explain by him shortcircuiting the nen needle he'd implanted on himself to change his personality, like he'd done with Killua.
