Fun fact, the last part of the hunter exam had Flower/Kiku and Pot. for one of them to win the exam and become a hunter the other two had to die. I was waiting days for one of pot and kiku to die to award the other only for both of them to kill each other.

You didnt, they delayed all actions on Team Orange for a cycle. So he wouldve been marked the next night which means the devour wouldve needed to happen the following night after that, but they wouldnt have had the role by then.
