I bought PS5 because of exclusives

PC sucks ass rn. Overpriced parts and games are optimized so badly where your $3000 pc runs them like a toaster.

I've been primarily gaming on pc for over a decade now and bought a ps5 this year.

Steamkeys are by default cheaper

My 9 years old 800€ PC can run most games.How is your 3000€ PC not able to do it?Unless you talk about playing it with highest settings.

For me it's just the convenience of consoles. You just press 1 button and you're ready to play from the couch on a giant ass TV.

Gaming on PC monitors sitting on a gaming chair is just not the same. Setting it up to the TV is just a hassle.

Check ram prices right now. Just two sticks of ram alone cost as much as a Ps5.

A 3000€ PC is running the same AAA games at more than double its performance on ultra settings. The gaming quality is so much better but you can only afford such hardware if you sell your own kidney. 😂

I was quite interested about the Steam Machine but the moment I read they'll aim for PC prices, I quickly lost interest again. It's way too expensive.

I've had enough of consoles and switched to PC last week. The only con is the inconvenience of something constantly needing to be adjusted, but it's overwhemingly a net positive experience.

Bought a long enough hdmi cable and I'm gaming on the bed like always.

The console has 1!!! exclusive titel in form of Astrobot after 5!!! years.I can play the rest of the "exclusives" on PC with mods if i want.No extra money for multiplayer as its free on PC

Switch 2 has more exclusive games and that system is not even 6 months old

I wish I bought a Ps5 pro, I regret upgrading to DDR5. Would have been half the price for the same performance. PC is so dogshit in 2025, I fear it's only gonna get worse. There's just no upside anymore, parts are expensive, games aren't optimized.

Nintendo stopped competing in the graphics wars to avoid inflating development budgets.

Sony and Xbox chased pixels and found neither couple afford restricting their sales potential to one platform.

It's an industry-wide reality. Atlus, Sega, Square, Bandai, Koei, Konami, etc. - all but the entirety of the Japanese games industry in HD development has switched to a multiplatform approach. It's the sensible thing to do.

Exclusives are a thing of the past, unless you're Nintendo, and even with them, it's only a matter of when shareholders force their hand to go multiplatform.

Games cost too much money to be exclusive.

I don’t think Nintendo is in any rush to find out how well they would sell on brand power and gimmicks alone.

Nintendo would print money if they went multiplatform though, but these mfers wouldn’t even allow Pokémon to do that, so it’s unlikely it’ll be voluntary when that day comes. Preemptively maybe, but not something they wanted to.
