I believe I cracked the case of what happened during the void century and how everything went down.... I'll split this into 4 segments of 25 years
0800-0825 The Rise and Fall of The Ancient Kingdom
Now Many people are under the assumption Joyboy was born in the ancient kingdom and according to the wiki he lived to be a hundred I don't know where people are getting this information or why the wiki constantly puts information that wasn't stated in any canon material that i can think of by I believe this era was the Era of Davy Jones, King of the Ancient Kingdom when they where prosperous and dangerous, before imu, before the ancient weapons and before the World Government took hold, imu would arrive at some point during this time (or at least imu as we know him today) now you can say Joyboy might of been born at some point during this time since it is confirmed he was born towards the beginning of the void century I don't think he participated in the war that took place
0826-0850 Joyboy The First Pirate
By this time the Ancient Kingdom is all but destroyed after the great war wrecked it and the world government as we know it today is slowly forming remember empires aren't built over night it was also during this time period of the world governments rise to power that Joyboy also began to rise to power as the first ever pirate and it would also be during this time we learn how Imu and Joyboy first meet. it was during this time Joyboy ruled the seas as the first pirate where he met Zunisha, Emeth, made friends with Lili and made a promise to fishman island that he couldn't keep, it was during this time the Poneglyphs explaining what happened during the void century was written down and why Alabasta ultimately decided to betray the world government. It was also during this time Toki would travel to the future, Zunesha would receive his punishment, and the Joy boy Haki Knot would be born.
0851-0875 The Empty Throne isn't so Empty
I believe it was at this point in time that imu began to sit on the empty throne, I believe imu killed the original kings that helped him win the war, and placed himself at the top, I believe afther this point he was no longer Nerona Imu one of the twenty kings that formed the world government no he was the hidden king that puppeteered the world for centuries, during this time we get the formation of the gorosei, the god knights, the beginning of unaffiliated countries joining the wg via heavenly tribute, this is what Joyboy was trying to prevent he knew imu planned this he warned Lili about this and that's why she didn't join the world government in mariejose.
0876-0900- Imu Begins to hide the last 100 years
by this time anyone who knew the truth of what imu was, was either dead or completely loyal to him, by this time anyone who mentioned the ancient kingdom was branded criminals and executed, anyone who said anything about the last 100 years was wiped out, anyone who could even hint at imu's true identity was swiftly dealt with, anyone who studied the poneglyphs that told the story of what happened, was wiped out imu has been keeping the void century secret all this time for a reason because if that information ever gets out, then his empire crumbles. and he's been keeping the lie alive all this time
