Her in direct danger along with vegapunk himself but now he has more people to protect. Luffys still down and zoros still fighting Lucci. Literally 0 progression. It was a chapter to stall.
Why waste your time drawing such shit? He could have achieved all of that in half of a chapter and then wrote something actually significant with the other half.
There's 0 tension with the pacifistas while were knowing sanjis there to speed them away again. If it was usopp in sanjis position I'd be worried. Oda usually fails to utilize his characters in an efficient manner and it sucks.
