The RS wasnt just a PU it was a symble of judge the character that treated him like trash and wanted him to die and disappear, also judge was the reason his mother died, why wouldn't sanji loath the suit and also we can go back to zeff saying "grit counts more than steel", it's more impactful for sanji destroy the suit than throwing or putting it into his pocket and it alsotells us that sanji doesn't have the raid suit to fall back on to in a fight.

Only way judge thought sanji was worth anything was a pawn for alliance with BM, he didnt want his other children be trap in a marriage but sanji had no value for him so he used sanji ,judge said it in the manga.
