Speculations I still insist that Imu is…

#1
Is actually not 800 years old(and is a male) and that the current Imu is a descendent of the former and the current Imu is around Luffy’s age and is just using his ancestor’s name when ruling the world but when he’s not ruling the world he goes by another name(his birth name)

And I think that soon we’ll be introduced to new celestial dragon whom he’ll be hidden among and wouldn’t be revealed to be Imu until the end. So if we get introduced to a young, “kind hearted” celestial dragon who’s also gets close to Luffy that’s Imu guys

Oda could jebait us with the whole "Imu is actually not immortal" despite the Ope Ope no Mi hints.

But we do know is that Imu knows Queen Lily of Alabasta from 800 years ago. So the evidence of immortality is still there.

I guess we could see it as a red herring, but I think he rly is the Imu that lived 800 years ago. That explains why even the Gorosei bows down to him, he's one of the 20 original, pure-blooded kings. Atp I think Oda just wants to expand on the lore and explain everything as fast as possible, rather than trying to trick the audience.
