General & Others I thought when Kaido turned hybrid it was going to one shot city, what happened?

I have known some that are hardly patient.

Most admiral fans I know of are patiently waiting for the rooftop fight to come to an end and also even the final war to do the same.
I don't have a stake in Admirals vs Yonkos, but look at it this way:

Ladmiral fans will have to deal with Luffy and Zoro soloing an admiral each. :gokulaugh:

At least they had to gang up with 3 SNs against Lonkos. :milaugh:

Kidding aside, Luffy & Zoro aren't pushovers anymore. So the Yonkos not being able to defeat them easily shouldn't tarnish their reputation. I'm certain none of the Admirals can lolstomp them anymore.

I mean these are weaker versions of what would face them probably toward EoS.

This being a shounen they'll undergo several ridiculous power ups by the time they face admirals.

It’s actually retarded two Yonko using their full powers haven’t KO’d one of them yet.
Maybe it's time to acknowledge that RT5 are that strong. I mean how long are they going to remain fodders to top tiers?

True.

Also, to be fair for the Yonkos, the Admirals had the chance to meet SHs pre-TS and lolstomped them.

This is why newer admirals and Yonkos don't look as impressive as color trio: they meet SHs no one alive can lolstomp anymore.

Fujishiro

Just chilling

All you intelligent yonko fans told me the supernova were going to be knocked out next time we saw them? What happened?
First off, don't generalize everyone into one basket.

2nd, it was clear that Oda wasn't gonna offpanel the SNs vs Yonko.

SNs have plot relevance, and Plot>>> Powerlevels in one piece.

There was no way they would get offpaneled or One shot.

If Oda didn't stall from chapter 991 to 1000 and instead started to build up the under the rooftop fight we wouldn't have that situation where he has to make all the fighters in the rooftop look bad.
Now he is stalling the rooftop fight to set up the fights under the rooftop.

He could have done it earlier and still have 1000 as a Luffy moment.

Now 1000 seems far away and even looks like filler at this point.

What happened to Luffy's haki since then? And why suddenly towards the end of the arc his haki will suddenly be able to deal substantial damage again?

I‘ll stop generalizing them after they stop calling people sword swallowers and zoro wankers for believing in zkk

What happened is that Oda put himself in a corner he doesn't know how to get out of; and he did so when he had base Kaido one-shotting gear fourth Luffy after taking no damage. Now we jump to the current situation and nothing makes any sense: not only one emperor but two are facing the group, they all are suddenly able to hurt him (including the Scabbards) to a point of constant screaming on his part, and even in hybrid he hasn't been capable of one-shotting any of them (and Luffy has been exhausted for minutes!). If this doesn't sound inconsistent enough, Oda makes sure to blurry things even more by showing that he indeed can perform his thunder bagua so fast that a user of future sight barely dodges it. And let's not forget about Big Mom, who has done next to nothing even though her first showing of strength consisted on creating from the comfort of her room a storm strong enough to wipe armies out.

You guys can try to analyze this from a power level perspective all you want, but it's futile: the only reason why these guys are surviving that situation is because Oda wants them to do so for the "new versus old era" plot sake; and I wouldn't even be surprised if he just came up with this whole scenario while writing Wano already. I mean, you have too much faith on a guy who explicitly stated to improvise things on a daily basis and who didn't know how Kaido would be defeated —and I doubt he knows how to handle these characters even now.

A the end of the day, what we're seeing makes no sense and is a very clumsy management of the situation. Oda should have never made Luffy be one-shotted by Kaido and we're now seeing the consequences of his miscalculations and improvisations.
