I truly hope Oda will take it all the way and depict how much of a toll the war against Big Mom and the Beast Pirates took on the alliance. I sincerely hope even though we’ve seen people surviving ridiculous situations, that at the end of the war consequences are made and people die. Such a high level destruction war shouldn’t be depicted as a complete victory for the alliance. Sideish/main arc characters should die here. Obviously the crew wouldn’t suffer deaths but this is the main thing I always thought was missing from the series - the consequences of one’s actions.

It ain't happening, everyone is going to live. Besides, outside of the core crew and the two Supernova captains, hardly anyone gives two flying fucks about the cavalcade of forgettable side characters that clog up this arc. Who here is actually going to be upset if someone like Ashura Doji dies?

This arc truly places the worst gen on a new category of potency but not in its enterity either, just the strongest group.

As a return I expect Teach to have turned even much stronger than any SH can currently singularly afford.

Though this is kind off off-topic, I just have to say that Teach wouldn’t necessarily be physically stronger than Luffy, he has the ultimate weapon to counter Luffy’s fruit, throughout the entire series Luffy took advantage of his devil fruit to gain the upper hand against tough opponents but in the fight against Teach it’ll be his weakness. Hence why it will probably be Luffy’s hardest 1v1.

I was actually talking about the alliance side of things. After all, they did pick a fight outnumbered and had to face one of the strongest crews in existence.

I’m 100% sure Kaido will die one way or another this arc. Just can’t see him staying alive caged up or fleeing for the rest of his life.

I am sure that at less for my favourite they gona be consequence for the following arcs. Zoro gona carry in his body the consequence of this war. I cant speak for the other characters but I am 100% Kaido aint coming out alive from this war.
All the other I am sorry I cant comment especially after how Oda is keeping alive Kinemon which sould be death long time ago.

Big Mom IMO will escape, after all she still has her children down.

There is a link between Trafalgar Law and Napoleon (Big Mom weapon) where Napoleon lost the Trafalgar War in a place called similar to Elbaf or something like that.

Or Big Mom escapes and is defeated by Law in Elbaf or she simply loses here too.

Oh yeah, the bible says it will be Jimbei...


But it is damn hard to see a main SH die. It could be a side character like X Drake, Izou, Scabbards. Or maybe not die, but some heavy fatal wounds to a main SH where he could die, maybe losing an arm or something.

Just like Kidd when he fought an Emperor, did not die, but lost an arm. So take Franky losing an arm, or Chopper the doctor.
