Oda made explicit points, promises even, that Luffy would not only beat all of the emperors but all of the admirals. obviously he won't... but it's not like you hear the people who think Zoro would steal his thunder bitching about Big Mom losing to other characters. They fought two on one and still got the same bounty as Luffy. Buggy can't fight his way out of a wet paper bag and gets to be an emperor. But at least Zoro won't get another W right 🤡
