it makes me think of when zoro took Luffy’s pain and Sanji warned folks to keep quiet because it would make Luffy feel bad knowing his member sacrificed for him when he would’ve thought it should’ve been him sacrificing himself.

Would Luffy feel bad that he needed help or would he start to look at Kizaru different?

I think Luffy would be embarrassed af, not only for being so weak that he was fed by his opponent, but also since he kept hitting Kizaru with everything he had right after being fed by him.

He attacked an opponent who wasn't actually trying to fight back seriously ontop of attacking someone who gave him food, something Luffy cherishes.

It was technically Saturn's fault though. He was the one that put a cannon ball sized hole in Vegapunk, Kizaru just finished his job. Though Vega would have died anyway.
