Wasn't her heart stabbed by the way? Unless she survived that stab it is all but likely. But characters are superhuman here, so despite IRL such a degree of stab can prove fatal in such specific circumstance, who knows.
If you haven't read the theory then you'd better be off going to look for it.
But the jist of it is, Ceasar missed/Law's cube thing softened the blow, the glass/metal shard was imbedded in the wood/ground, But no blood etc are shown...
IF talking IRL, more often than not it's fatal but there's chances that it isn't if treated correctly but that's besides the point.
A well as shouldn't technically Monet's heart be able to function just like a logia, Caesar IIRC wasn't using Haki... I can't remember.

@Tokiro Oumaga I think people might need you and your theories here. And what is your personal opinion about the the question of this poll?

Oden is dead, so are all the other mentioned characters.

And what's the point in bringing up people like Carmel or even Noland and Calgara, who were already old in the past/lived centuries ago?

I understand you, not everyone can be alive, it would ruin the story. But some of them migh be and it is fun to speculate.

It is also fun to imagine that Hiluluk's final words were prophetic.

"When do you think people die? When they are shot through the heart by the bullet of a pistol? No. When they are ravaged by an incurable disease? No. When they drink a soup made from a poisonous mushroom!? No! It’s when… they are forgotten."

We can also remember that One Piece's top tiers are really hard to kill.

Whitebeard died standing after 267 sword wounds, 152 gun wounds and shot by canon 46 times and with no scars on his back because he never got one while running away.

Yorki aKa Ryokugyu theory lives on until proven otherwise I don't care:catcry::catcry::catcry:
Now that's an interesting one. I once theorized that Yorki was alive based on a slight resemblance to Byron, a pirate musician from West Blue (the same sea that the Rumbar Pirates came from), but I've never heard that he might be Ryokugyu. I'm assuming that's based on the silhouette of Ryokugyu's hair?

Monet alone at the top of the poll. That is something!
Very glad to see so much Monet support, lots of good eggs in this basket.

If anyone needs to review the Grand Monet Theory, I've always got the link on-hand. https://worstgen.alwaysdata.net/forum/threads/the-romance-of-fantasy-the-grand-monet-theory.4984/ However, for the sake of illustrating the point in the most simple manner for anyone having trouble parsing the explanation:

When Franky finds Caesar, the shrapnel is not in the heart. He clearly made contact, since the heart bled and Monet passed out, but since Caesar lost consciousness and the shrapnel is sticking straight up out of the dock, we can conclude that his hand slipped as he passed out, preventing a decisive fatal blow. There are tons of other pieces of evidence suggesting that Monet will have ongoing plot relevance, but for the sake of suggesting that she's alive, this is really as definitive as it gets. I've never seen anyone provide a solid argument against this, they usually either change their tune or just double down on opposing the idea without saying anything constructive. If anyone can explain how this doesn't mean that she's alive, I'd love to hear it.

As for the poll itself, I want to preface my response by saying that I don't think that Oden is alive. I've seen suggestions that this Oden is either a construct by Kanjuro or a transformation of Onimaru or Bunbuku (Tama's tanuki), and I'm inclined to think it's the former. By extension, I think there's a strong chance that Kanjuro is alive and this is either a trick (as he's still a traitor) or him triple-crossing Kaido and Orochi.

I also think Orochi is alive on the basis that his Devil Fruit's primary ability is giving him multiple heads, so I can't imagine beheading would be effective on him.

If it is Oden, though, then Toki is almost definitely alive. I've heard a lot of strong arguments that she's alive anyway, and I'm not against the idea, I'm just still on the fence.

I do believe that Vergo is alive on the basis that I think he'd be involved in Monet's return, but also I just don't think it'd be fair to say he's dead when I've been advocating for Monet all this time.

I wholeheartedly believe that Pedro is dead, but again, because I've been pushing so hard for Monet for the past half a decade that it wouldn't be fair of me not to acknowledge the possibility.

I think Kuma is going to get back to his old self at some point, though I'm not sure if he'll survive for very long past that point.

Ultimately, since it's a work of fiction, basically anyone could come back at any time for any reason, and things like logical sense are only so important to the immersion of the world. We can look past a boy being able to stretch infinitely and violating the law of conservation of mass because of magic, so why not fairly normal people surviving what would ordinarily be a fatal wound? So long as it doesn't undermine the messages of the narrative, I'm willing to accept whatever contrivance Oda wants to throw at me

#1 Hair.
#2 Vegapunk finding Yorki and curing him in exchange for him becoming a Marine and abandoning his past.
#3 Brook seems to not have a goal. Maybe I'm getting to old or just lacking empathy but Brook's goal being meet the Laboon seems a bit cheap. Imagine if after entire war when everything is settled Brook gets to know that Yorki is alive and he is in fact Ryokugyu. Their reunion would be fantastic ( as long as Yorki have his memories and he is not brainwashed like Kuma ).

I think I can see where you're coming from. Laboon has barely been mentioned since Brook's introduction and the crew's entrance into the New World, and Brook easily gets the least focus of the crew, so it's easy to feel detached from their part of the story. Having a major antagonist be related to Brook would certainly do wonders for his character development.

Still, I think that Brook's relationship with Laboon will probably be more impactful once they actually meet again. I'm of the opinion that reuniting with Laboon will be the first of the crews' dreams to be fulfilled since it's the simplest (finish circling the Grand Line, get back to Reverse Mountain), so Laboon may well become the official Straw Hat pet and fight alongside them for the remainder of the adventure. This would definitely give them enough time to flesh out their relationship, the emotional ramifications of their long separation, and would even give another dimension to the implications of Yorki becoming a Marine.
