Anime & Manga If Sanji and Zoro are wings then why?…

#24
Who comed to a zoro forum and asks the echo chamber the same question for the millionth time?

Either you're retarded and just like to stroke zoro off or you realize the truth that sanji>zoro currently. Just like in ennies lobby

Disprove my statement or it's not a cope.

It's not stroking to say Zoro's stronger than Sanji (like Katakuri is stronger than Smoothie or King is stronger than Queen). It's literally an undisputed manga fact.
Undisputed? According to you and this forum.

The truth is that there's times where sanjis stronger.
Or has better feats so we can assume he's stronger.

Or portrayal that he's stronger.

Or both

Dating back to bos.

because it was about new gen (worstgen) vs old gen as symbolism.
Sanji wasn't part of worstgen. So only worst generation on alliance side was on the roof

They did. Their fight literally started like that by defending one another.

Also I remember there was a panel of them being back to back fighting offscreen

Because there is such thing as "strongest of the equals"
Just like there is a strongest admiral between 3 admirals. That doesn't mean they all aren't on the same level

What do you think it means then?
Why wasn’t Sanji part of the worstgen? He was on the crew.

The fights weren’t tag team. They separated to their individual fights. Zoro guarded Sanji from King and Sanji guarded Zoro from Queen. They were still fighting there respective opponents.

When Sanji fought King earlier in the arc it was a one sided clash in Kings favor.

There is no such thing as strongest among equals. The admirals have an equal title not equal strength.
If someone is stronger then they can’t be equal regardless of the gap.

Doffy and Mihawk are both warlords and Mihawk is obviously stronger.

idk, didn't Oda say he came up with supernova on the spot?

It's not like worstgen is a prestige title. You have jobbers like Hawkins and Drake there. You think it's an impressive title?

Yeah, because Queen and King were going for their opposite opponents...
I literally posted a panel of them fighting back to back

How was it a one sided clash? Sanji blocked King's kick while holding momo.

Then while Sanji was talking to Momo, King got a dive bomb free attack on Sanji who was not defending himself and King still failed to do any damage to Sanji. Which is embrassing for King.
And don't try to post that anime filler crap.

of course there is. You think Admirals are not in the same league and there is huge gap in strength?
If someone is stronger then they can’t be equal regardless of the gap.
I think you took an "equal" too literally. It means they are relative to one another
Doffy and Mihawk are both warlords and Mihawk is obviously stronger.
Except warlord is not a strength title. It's notoriety.

What do you think "wings of the pirate king" means?

Just picture this, Zoro and Luffy face off against two characters with close bounties named King and Queen, then Robin gives those two a special duo name THEN they beat their opponents back to back while also having almost equal bounties. The same people that use Whiskey peak to argue the closeness of Zoro and Luffy can't pretend like they wouldn't use all these evidences to prove that their close. And if this was the case I am certain the fandom would have no problem understanding the implications of all these facts. People say "Wings means reliability" as if that's proof it has nothing to do with strength, but the question here is what falls under reliability?, what makes them the most reliable?, is strength not apart of it?. If we dismiss strength and say it's only importance then we are implying that Zoro and Sanji carry more importance than Nami or Ussop, which is objectively false, a crew based off of interdependence doesn't have ranks of value, this isn't a meritocracy.

So, what does wings imply?; it's obvious that wings by nature are comparable in their capabilities, so what are said capabilities?; easy, strength and leadership, these are the two things that separate Zoro and Sanji from the rest, they are relative in these two aspects, the only two capable of handling powerful opponents and the only two capable of shouldering the captains burden and in these two aspects they stand out as comparably reliable.....easy to understand when you have no agenda.

Couple of things. It doesn't matter if Oda came up with it on the spot or not why didn't he include Sanji?

So if they were fighting their respective opponents and split them up for 95% of the fight how is that a tag team?

I believe the anime is filler to but if the portrayal was wrong them Oda would stop it.

Sanji doesn't use his hands so why is holding Momo relevant?

How is King attacking Sanji off guard when Sanji turned invisible to sneak in between two commanders? If that King attacking Sanji in that moment makes him look bad how does Sanji look for attacking Queen with IJ when he turned around?

Warlord is a strength based title but wings for sure isn't.

I told you I don't know nor do I care.
Worst gen title holds no meaning. Do you find it impressive when jobbers like Hawkins are in it?

I was responding to a post that said they didn't have tag team, which they did a little and maybe a lot offscreen

stop being a naiive child. Oda doesn't consult episodes.
It's outsourced episode to some 3rd world shitter where they pay beans for money

They are so incompetent, they gave Garp the fist a sword

because he was switching Momo between his hands in the chapter. Shock waves hurt

I never said he attacked Sanji off guard. Sanji didn't care about King, he was talking to Momo while King was grabbing Sanji's stomach with his beak

And what does sanji turning invisible to grab momo has to do with this?
If that King attacking Sanji in that moment makes him look bad how does Sanji look for attacking Queen with IJ when he turned around?
what?
King doing 0 damage to Sanji makes him look bad

warlord is not based on strength. BB literally just tried to capture someone worth 100mil in order to become a warlord
Buggy became a warlord because he had strong fodder
Law became a warlord because of 100 hearts

Anyway, if wings don't mean strength, what do they mean?
Why are Zoro and Sanji above other crewmemebers?

Yeah you’re just wrong but how do you split your responses like that?
