Seems to be way far fetched.

Looking at the panels the onomatopeia used was ''gin'' that just means that the person is staring. The others are even more insane. Being closer to someone in a panel does not mean anything, neither is believing in Luffy, since all SH do that.

If you want people to believe that Sanji can get CoC show what he did that actually show iron will and the desire to die for something. Fucking Usopp had many moments when he acted like a boss unwilling to back down to defend what he believed and has a bigger claim to get CoC in the future than Sanji. And that's ok.

Outside of trolls everyone knows that he will be number 3 in the crew until the end. It's not like he will lack power or anything EoS. Instead of claiming for things that will not happen ask for things that made his character fun pre-ts, like his Mr. Prince persona and his strategic capabilities helping the SH in the background (like he is missing because he's doing some 007 shit with brook off panel that will help in the end).

Those people cares about exclusivity that comes with having CoC, instead of his rank in the crew.

Sanji will surely have equal or higher powerlevel than many CoC users (like Kidd Yamato, or Hancock Ace Doffy Kata), but it's still not enough to please them.
