Saturn is a fighter he not just a CD, that old man he will kick butts no doubt about it.
Him getting hit is his own responsibility but i believe we will see something close to Luffy's power's. Kizaru will have his hands full with the strawhats, he can't protect other people.

People have speculated for a long time that there would be a final new admiral to replace Kizaru at some point.

Well, we’ve got a potential scenario coming up. Zoro Kills Kizaru! Just kidding, this is One Piece and people rarely die. Also Zoro is a weakling.

One thing that I think is definitely set up is Luffy punching Saturn in the face as a parallel to Luffy punching Charlos.
