I think you're wrong. The existence of sanji haters is directly related to him being a retard and (often) a weakling.
If he'd been in zoro's place and did exactly the same, everything would be just fine. People would be impressed he can keep up with two seraphim and protect the captives.
But knowing sanji, he'd break his leg here, or Kaku would've been dead already, or if it were S-snake he wouldn't be able to hit her and also get petrified or SOMETHING.

Oda can't resist putting a little bit of jobbery into all of sanji actions. Still can't figure why tbh.


He often has just one task and he fucks it up. Not because of recklessness or brashness, like luffy or zoro constantly do, but because of incompetence.
