If you had to get rid of one what would it be Haki or Devil Fruits?

Me personally im getting Rid of Haki, its a cool concept but Devil Fruit fights are much much more fun to watch and with awakening Devil fruits are much more interesting

And see how people would deal with Logia users without Haki would be interesting

Imagine if they beat ceaser by trapping him in a pickle jar 🫙

Haki doesn't need to be removed, it needs to be reworked. It serves as a justification for non DF users being able to compete at the highest level, but where it falls short compared to Devil fruits is in its clarity and individuality. Gun to my head, I'd pick Haki but I don't believe the story would be better without it. It just needs refining.

Well said, Haki is good in concept but it can use some tweaking

Well, if you removed Haki, we would see more Seastone weaponry in use. I think martial arts styles would also become a more prevalent standard as well. That would be nice.

But if you removed Devil Fruits, I don't think Haki would be the same as it is now. Oda likely would have expanded it further, like the concepts of Nen, Chakra, Cursed Energy, etc.

Overall, Devil Fruits are a more unique and lore-rich concept. So, I would remove Haki.

Haki easily. Mantra and Rokushiki can still exist.

Devil fruits are more creative and unique. Haki is cool and all but is basically an asspull power. Oda can come up with random new powers and call it haki. DFs on the other hand are unique to One Piece

Devil fruits are the iconic One Piece power. One Piece without devil fruits isn't One Piece anymore.

Haki is just another "project fighting spirit" power.

So if I was forced to remove one then I would choose haki easily.

Devil fruits are much more enjoyable to watch, two of my favorite characters are Helmeppo and Rebecca so I can't say I care about power scaling all that much, but seeing all the cool abilities and affects the devil fruits have are always fun. Haki is just a manifestation of one's spirt/will sure its the more balanced system because its not luck of the draw but. Like theres a devil fruit that turns people into toys, another that can suck your soul out, one thst can create zombies from shadows, then we have all the cool mythical zoans, Each devil fruits gives users a fun and unique way to fight and incorporate their fruits into their fighting style

Haki is just an augmentation and is nowhere near as fun or interesting to watch

Like I said to me is the exact opposite. Bunch of asspull powers. Creative to me are ninjutsus, magic for example.

If I had to chose? Devil fruits. People complain that current one piece is "my haki is better so now I win!"
Well without haki one piece would be "my seastone weapon touched you first so I win!" At least haki is kinda cool and way better than seastone touching spam.

DF are one of the biggest question in One Piece, they are like a premise to the story.
Haki is a generic power so easier to remove/replace.
