Break Week If you were Oda, how would you distribute screen time between one piece characters?

That's a terrible idea. It makes no sense to take screen time away from the best character in the series (Sanji).
If anything, I would say that Sanji deserves another arc in which he gets all the attention.

Zoro gets way too much screentime imo

There are much better written characters among the SH's who could get good development if Oda took time away from Zoro and dedicated it to them instead

He should have had much more but Oda chose to have him out of the game for a while in order to lend yonko some breath

I'd look at superior manga like Jujutsu, HxH, and demon slayer. I think they all excel at screen time distribution of beloved character. They also dont sacrifice world building for the MC sake.

Just give a good story with logic and consistency.

I would just remove screen time from fodders because they doesn't add nothing to the plot.

Also I would make Luffy stop any fodders samurai to join the fight and him and Kid running unleashing CoC to knock out most of the fodders of Kaido's army.

I don’t mind actually sidelining characters to give others shine. I though WCI was actually smart for doing that
